UFC – The Most Undefeated Fighter if UFC
The octagon of the UFC is where all the action takes place. Kicking, punching, headlocks and any form of martial arts that gets your opponent to concede can be found. Fighters from around the world converge at UFC sponsored ultimate fighting events to proclaim that they are the best in the world. Only one fighter, however, can be considered the ultimate fighter and everyone that partakes knows that it is he that should hold the title.

Weight to power

Each of the weight classes has the power guys and the speed guys. Fast and accurate gets points but rarely lands the opponent on the mat for a crawl around and submission. Power can put the opponent on the mat for good but the fighter needs to get in toward the opponent to drive a kick, elbow or punch home. Ultimate fighting brings all fighting styles with some working better against some opponents then others. Add in a good night for ultimate fighting or a bad night for ultimate fighting and the outcome can be very different on any given night.

Only a few have a “0”

Taking a look at the UFC record board, one can see that there are only a few fighters with a “0” in the middle column of all listed fighters. Both Shane Carwin and Rashad Evens have a no loss record with the latter being the only one that may be able to say with any certainty that he is the best. Shane Corwin - 6’5” and 265lbs.- is big enough to get to a point where he may lay claim to some sort of a crown but he needs to put his 8-0-0 record to the test a dozen or so more times before he can earn the respect need to do so. Getting to that point won’t be easy without posting a 1 in the middle column. Rashad Evens, however, has been in the UFC octagon on a number of occasions and run up an impressive 16-0-1 record. The 1 draw may even be suspect given the quickness and power that he brings. Evens is a short 5’10” powerhouse of 205lbs. He can move and hit on all cylinders. One wonders, however, how many more fights he has in him given the pounding that every fighter takes when they get into the octagon.

No one punch matches

Finding out who will be able to take the pounding and lay claim to the ultimate fighting crown is fairly easy. Pay-per-views are available at almost any ultimate fighting website. Pay-per-view is a great way to check out the fights. There are no one punch and out matches in ultimate fighting so you actually get your dollars worth when you pay up. Finding Rashad Evens may be a bit of work but if you want to see the fighter that could eventually be considered the best check out the listings. He’s an exciting fighter that really puts on a show.
