With these two ideas in mind you can combine suits, sequences and like numbers.
What to draw
You can draw up to three cards after the first round of betting. If you have two like cards you may want to draw three cards. If you have two like cards and a high number or face card you may want to draw two cards in hopes of drawing another of the higher cards to make two sets of two cards, or two pair. If you have a series of four cards you might want to draw one card in hopes of filling the series for a straight. If you have two pair you may want to draw one card to make three alike cards along with one pair. This is a full house and a good hand. If your series of cards is missing the middle card of the series you are drawing to an inside straight and a difficult thing to draw to. In this instance you may want to consider drawing three cards if the series contains face cards. In this instance you are learning why poker is called a game of chance.
